Environmental issues affect us all, both at local and global levels. There are many international issues that need urgent attention such as climate change, sustainable development and bio diversity.

The British High Commission in Banjul has drafted an environment strategy which outlines environmental conditions in The Gambia, the Gambian Government's commitment to environmental issues, and also details environment projects sponsored by the British Government including the presently ongoing Darwin Initiative project being run by the Makasutu Wildlife Trust.
