Disabled access
Disabled Access to the British High Commission
The British High Commission is keen to ensure that its buildings and services are fully accessible to disabled members of the public. Wherever possible, we have made our buildings and services accessible. To assist disabled visitors, we have set out below details of disabled access on BHC premises, which we hope you will find useful.
General Physical Access
To aid disabled visitors on its premises, the British High commission has constructed wheelchair ramps at all access points with a step of more than 2 inches. The works have been inspected and approved by Disabled peoples' organisations. To this end, on the 1st December 2004, representatives of these organisations presented a certificate to the British High commission for demonstrating its commitment to increasing accessibility to its services for people with disabilities.
